This Brisbane based 90's band had three EPs, now long deleted. They can only be found here - all bundled together.
A mainly instrumental band hailing from Brisbane's inner-city haunts, their kooky brand of twangy surf, lounge, exotica together with a less-than-serious stage show has won them plenty of fans. This will appeal to fans of Dick Dale, the Raybeats and classic surf bands of the 60's on, assuming they are perversely orientated.
Working his way through the 1960s in The Purple Hearts, The Wild Cherries and The Aztecs, Lobby Loyde established the reputation as Australia's pre-eminent guitar master before forming the Coloured Balls in 1972. Ball Power was to become a defining moment and one of the greatest Australian guitar-driven hard rock albums of the 1970s.
This was their final album and released originally in 1974. Digitally remastered. Seven of the twenty two tracks are bonuses.
Cops Music is a sound all of its own. A schizophrenic mess of grandiose guitars, cheap electronics and precision drilled ensemble performance.
Brand new studio album for 2015 from this legendary crew of punk-rock yobbos. Ross, Macka and Dean deliver an A-grade selection of foul-mouthed pub-rock slobber with Cum The Raw Prawn. Comes with a bonus beer coaster.
