Leadfinger is the nome de plume (and band name) for songwriter/guitarist Stewart 'Leadfinger' Cunningham. Cunningham has been a fixture on the Australian underground scene for over 20 years. This is the band's 4th album.
As above but without an autograph.
Leadfinger have developed their own unique style that fuses roots, indie, blues and rock influences. The result is a band with a timeless rock'n'roll sound and great songs that sits them comfortably in the same stinky band-room as the Replacements, The Black Keys, Wilco, The Drones, Sloan, Ryan Adams and classic Australian rock'n'roll a la Sunnyboys, Birdman and You Am I.
Spanish import of the debut solo release from Stew Cunningham formerly of Proton Energy Pills, Asteroid B612, The Yes Men and the underrated Brother Brick. This release takes a mainly acoustic, chilled out approach.
Members of the Boondall Boys, Dangermen and Kamikaze have come together to mould 8 tracks of drug addled hateful psychedelia that pays homage to acid damaged Texas heroes the Butthole Surfers and the Thirteenth Floor Elevators.
